Colonized Bodies, Colonized Minds, Erased Lives

Challenging the Imperialistic Dogma Behind 'The Common Transsexual'

Of Over-Simplifications, Fantasies, Fallacies, Stereotypes, Prejudices, Violence, Ideologies, Torture, Exclusion, and Other Forms of Social Control

Over time, transsexuals - people who obtain hormonal treatment and 'sex reas-signment surgery' to express their self-experiences - have fought against being pres-sured into mandated stealth, into stereotypical homosexuals, into an extension of 'queer', and now into being redefined as 'trans'. Some of these interpretations were heavily geared towards enforcing normative appearances, female stereotypes, and inspired by homophobia and 'deviantism'.
Is the current interpretation of 'transness' now the true self-expression of trans-sexuals? Or is it yet another coerced self-interpretation and an imposed self-expression that may work for some, but not for others? Are some transsexuals' minds and bodies colonized, yet again?
Within a framework of gender-torture and imperialistic governance, many trans-sexual life experiences are manufactured, destroyed or erased. What does this do to the individuals subjected to such experiences? How are people manufactured into what is acceptable, but not who they are? What would it take for society, service providers, friends, and allies to recognize this? How can individual transsexuals fi-nally realize their own dreams, explore their own selves, and be celebrated for their authentic complexities?

A Matter Of Life - when gender doesn't work

a woman's view on having been transsexual

A Matter Of Life describes experiences and insights on my way to find trans-treatment. This is a realm where misconceptions reign, denial of my needs, as well as of my condition, is systemic. It is where medical treatment is no longer a basicright, but instead is handed out as a charity, or as a reward for behavioural change!

Manufacturing Insanity
Vol. 1 - Creating Truth / When Darkness Falls

What has happened was absurd. It was criminal! It was abusive! It was insane! And it all happened because Eva is who she is! But this is her interpretation...
Of course in their interpretation it is Eva who is insane, because she is who she is: A transsexual.
Or maybe they declare her insane because it can't possibly be they themselves? After all, they get rated "The most trustworthy members of society" over and over again: Medical doctors!
But is this really possible? Medicine turned into a system of well organized prejudice, cruelty and mistreatment? Patients being abused while the perpetrators are convinced that this is necessary, good treatment?

In volume I of Manufacturing Insanity Eva examines how it is possible that patients suffer and die while doctors watch in complete denial.
Maybe this denial of patient's needs and rights, all the abuse and death is created by an inherent systemic inability of medicine to acknowledge just these needs?
But doctors letting their patients suffer and die because they are incapable to accept their own shortcomings? That's insane!
Well, maybe not! Because on her way through the jungle of medical history, politics, practice, self-understanding and the patient experience Eva finds that in the end this is all about sex, power and cultist beliefs! The one piece in the puzzle that is completely irrelevant is the emotional integrity of the individual patient!

Manufacturing Insanity
Vol. II - Dangerous Knowledge / The Next Religious War

In volume II of Manufacturing Insanity Eva proposes a new model of understanding transsexuality, then concludes that because of the very nature of the new model medicine is incapable to understand it and hence to provide treatment for this condition.
But if there is one condition doctors are incompetent to treat, then maybe there are others? And what does it say about medicine if doctors are incapable to accept that there are things they're not competent to treat?
Is this healthcare system where we have to have absolute blind faith in the doctor while he doesn't need any understanding to act a science or a cultist belief-system? After all, we give doctors an exclusive, absolute right and unlimited power to treat patients while we deny ourselves any rights to recourse or self-treatment, should we ever need it!
And if we ever do need out rights back, will this be a scientific matter of course or a religious war?
